Susanna is a sweet and lively six-year-old who lives with her parents
and two sisters in Edmonds, Washington. Born with a chromosomal
anomaly, she experiences muscular weakness, coordination problems
and slowed development. In spite of this, she is a busy and exuberant
little girl. She likes to take control of her environment. She
is waiting for a service dog that will help meet her needs, providing
assistance such as balance support and alerting her parents if she
needs help. A service dog also will provide that all-important
companionship that means so much to a person living with disabilities.
