Leah and Bella
Leah is a high school senior who lives in Auburn, Washington, and she has been partnered with Bella, a beautiful, petite Golden Retriever. Leah and Bella are a perfect match, and Bella loves to rest her chin on Leah’s knee and just gaze up at her. Bella is now accompanying Leah to school each day at Auburn High School. If Leah drops her pen or other objects, Bella can help her retrieve things, which allows Leah to feel more independent, not always having to ask someone for help. Bella will also push the automatic door buttons, and can retrieve the phone in case of an emergency. Leah likes to play with Bella, brush her lovely coat, and they both like to snuggle together at night. We look forward to seeing this wonderful partnership grow stronger as the months and years go by! Bella was donated by Ron and Chris Paulk of Anacortes, Washington. She was raised by Christy Durham of Sedro-Woolley.
