Macy, who is 14 years old and lives in Federal Way, Washington, received Brooklyn from Summit Assistance Dogs in 2008. Macy has Cerebral Palsy and navigates her world with the aid of a power wheelchair and her best friend, Brooklyn. Brooklyn goes to school each day with Macy and makes sure that doors are opened and anything dropped is retrieved.
