Taysen, a delightful, outgoing young boy, was born in 2004.
Before the age of two, he developed spinal muscular atrophy,
resulting in diminished motor skills. He zooms around in
a power wheelchair and charms everyone he meets. His nickname
is “the little general.” Taysen’s parents felt that a service
dog would increase his quality of life, and they were so
right. Jackson, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, is the perfect
pal for Taysen and responds to commands to retrieve things
Taysen has dropped. Jackson gives Taysen both independence
and loving companionship.
